Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is made from fresh coconuts that are opened shortly after harvesting.  They are air dried and cold pressed to express the healthy, pure coconut milk. This preserves the vitamins, minerals and nutrititional benefits. It is of the highest quality human grade, so both you and your pet can enjoy this oil!

Coconut is mainly comprised of a medium chain fatty acid called Lauric acid.  The only other abundant source of Lauric acid is found in human breast milk and it keeps infants from getting infections. Lauric acid is responsible for many of coconut's health benefits and in pets it also helps fight viruses and protects against infection. It boosts the immune system and gently raises the metabolism, providing a higher level of energy. When fed regularly coconut has proven benefits:

You can  place a small amount in your hand and let the warmth of your hand melt the oil, your pet can then lick the oil directly from your hand. A perfect way to bond!
Detoxification symptoms may occur while coconut kills harmful bacteria, viruses, parasites, yeasts and fungi. If your pet appears unusually tired, uncomfortable or has diarrhea, simply reduce the amount temporarily. As with all treats and supplements it is important to start slowly and increase gradually.
